The slideshow at the top of this column contains photos from recent events and activities, and this month is from our June end of school party.

Videos highlighting our major events and activities of our current school year, most of which are on YouTube and are under 10 minutes duration, are accessed by clicking the link at the bottom of this column. The majority of our after-school students are now in our 6 week long summer camp program (co-sponsored with Boonton Parks and Recreation), and participate in all of the camp activities that are only possible with the continued support we receive from our wonderful group of caring donors.

Welcome to Cedar Hill CDC's website, where you will find a great deal of information about us and our 35 to 40 children on average, who attend our After-School and Summer Camp Programs.

We invite 1st time visitors to read about our Core Programs and our History and Mission, or for a summary and direct link to each page on this site, use the Site Map. Then please return to these three home page columns for the latest Class of 2010 Student News, this News and Views column, and our Recent Events coverage with photos & videos.

We had a very busy spring and end of school week, with two important fundraising events in May including our Annual Golf Outing and exclusive Barn Theatre performance of The Producers. We also held our 3rd Annual Fashion Show and Dinner in May. In June our students and volunteers performed in our Annual Talent Show, which was enthusiastically enjoyed by parents and guests.

Also during June, we held our 3rd Annual Recognition Day for our staff and many volunteers, during which we presented certificates of thanks. We presented certificate awards to all of our children who were present, recognizing their most outstanding trait or skill.

Finally, on the last day of school we held our annual End of School Party with a variety of physical games and contests which were thoroughly enjoyed by all students. As best we could, we dried our students after their participation in the water games, and wiped off their whipped creamed faces, hands and bodies from the building mountains game.
