At the present time there are 35 students enrolled in the CDC After-School Program (we are licensed for a maximum of 40 students in our present facilities).

We have a larger number of K-3rd grade students this year from the School Street School. We look forward to serving them through the 6th grade.

Our student body is also more diverse this school year, which is a great source for learning about other cultures, customs and traditions as we celebrate their important national holidays throughout the school year.

From Last Month's Column

Students and staff warmly welcomed former staff member, Rut Mulero during her visit home from Benin, Africa where she is completing her 2nd tour with the Peace Corps.

Ms. Mulero is the 3rd present or former Cedar Hill CDC staff member who has served in the Peace Corps. Our present Executive Director, Tim O'Donnell and former Executive Director, Meredith Tilp also served in Africa.

Many of our students are busy rehearsing for our 3rd Annual Fashion Show on Friday, April 23rd at 6:00pm in the Boonton Recreation Center. They are also busy selecting which of their personal outfits to wear in the various fashion categories.

A number of our students are also busy preparing and rehearsing for their Friday, June 4th Talent Show also to be held in the Boonton Recreation Center. Rehearsals, direction and coaching are provided by our talented Mrs. "B" and our Volunteer Music Director, Christina Jones.

The photos below are from Ms. Mulero's just completed visit to the CDC, during her visit home from the Peace Corps., and a photo of Eric Hoffman with his new rod and reel.
